Expressing thanks to God for His many gifts  has become a focus of my life. Gratitude is important, but I have discovered that expressing it is what brings light to my life. I am going to post thanksgiving poems from a small book, Give Thanks With a Grateful Heart, 2014, that I put together. I hope you enjoy it and it reminds you to give thanks to God for His many gifts.

LIFE IN THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving breeds life,
solution to strife.
I reach beyond me,
from selfishness freed.
So many gifts
God gives me to lift
my spirit to Him
and deliverance from sin—
of pride of my heart,
humility imparts.
Thanksgiving gives life
and fills with God’s light.
