Fragrance of thanksgiving
sweetens the air I breathe,
perfuming my senses with patterns
of joy that sets my heart free.

Savor of thanksgiving
gives grace to fill each day,
pouring peace wherever
confusion surrounds the way.

Remembrance of thanksgiving
with grace swirls hope inside,
sustaining in my trials
turning darkness into light.

Speaking out thanksgiving
throws open prison doors
allowing life to enter
from heaven’s glorious store.
