Some people read the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America says there should separation between government and religion, that we need to be protected from public displays of religion. But does it say that?
“Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
According to the Constitution, we are free to practice our faith, not just in private, but in public as well. It is good to know in this day when some want to rid the public scene from anything religious.
